Introduction:

SQL Utility Tool that can manage the task of attaching and detaching SQL database very efficiently.The tool enables user to attach, detach, shrink database directly by double clicking on mdf file and thereby saving a lot of time.

Features of aSQLDB:

  • Attach, Detach and Shrink SQL Database File (.mdf).
  • Creates DataSource Name (DSN) for the database.
  • Detach Multiple databases at a time.
  • Shrink multiple database at a time.
  • Opens the folder physical file of the SQL Database attached.
  • Search for mdf files in a folder and checks the status (attached or detached) and can attache multiple databases.

This is the first version of aSQLDB. It includes several bugs corresponding to particular situations. I am working to resolve those. I request users to please report the bugs if found, so that I can take care of them in the future releases.

The tool has been really helpful in handling multiple databases at one go...

I like the part that it shrinks and detaches the databases at the same time... :-)
